About
Lactation Consultation
A lactation consultation is designed to educate and support you and your family on breastfeeding. While this service is provided by a certified speech-language pathologist (SLP) who is also a certified lactation consultant (CLC), it is important to note that this is not a formal feeding assessment for therapy.
A lactation consultation is recommended for new parents who have detailed questions about breast and/or bottle feeding and need tailored advice to improve feeding success.
A complimentary follow-up virtual visit (30 minutes) can be scheduled upon request to answer any additional questions.
