Cute Toddler

Daniella F.

Cate was Naylah's first speech/feeding therapist and she was a lifesaver. Naylah had aversion to food, silent reflux, issues coordinating chewing and swallowing - the list could go on and on. Cate came to our home 2x a week to work on new sounds and to help with feeding. She was always prepared with songs to motivate Naylah or feeding tools that I had never seen before, like a vibrating spoon stimulation therapy. She is patient , kind, knowledgeable, and will do absolutely anything to help your kiddo. Thank you for being our daughter's therapist when she needed it the most .

PS: Naylah now eats mostly anything and only gets extra calories via tubes on the days she is under the weather. We have came a long way!

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible support and guidance provided by Bloom Therapy Group. As a first time mom, their gentle approach and tailored techniques made me feel comfortable, ultimately helping me and my newborn to overcome obstacles and establish the successful breastfeeding routine that I’d hoped for. I wholeheartedly recommend Bloom Therapy Group to any parent seeking professional and caring support for their child's development. Thank you for making such a positive impact on our breastfeeding journey!

Baby

Emily P.

My son was born extremely premature at 25 weeks gestation. He had feeding difficulties as an infant and required speech therapy soon after discharge from the NICU. He had severe oral aversion and refused to eat by mouth. He would cry and push the bottle away. Weight gain was a problem. This was seriously distressing as parents. After starting feeding therapy at a facility close to home, we were referred to Cate at Bloom Therapy Group and drove nearly an hour away to seek treatment, because we were told she was the BEST. And she was! She was knowledgeable and very concerned about our baby. She got us on the right track. He is now 5 years old. We removed his G-tube the day after Christmas this past year. He has caught up on the growth charts and loves to eat! Thank you, Cate!

Our son was diagnosed with a tongue-tie at birth, but since he was able to breastfeed (though the latch was painful for my wife), the pediatrician told us not to worry, so we left it untreated. Around the time he turned 2, we started noticing issues like picky eating, speech delays, and lots of drooling, so we knew it was time to get professional help.

After researching our son’s symptoms, we found Bloom Therapy Group, and I couldn’t be more grateful. After the extensive evaluation, they coordinated a detailed plan that included myofunctional therapy, a tongue-tie release, and orthodontic intervention. Since then, he’s been eating a wider variety of foods, sleeping better, and is a much happier toddler.

01

phone consult

We begin with a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your concerns and determine if a speech/language, feeding, or myofunctional evaluation would be beneficial. Based on this discussion, we can then schedule a formal evaluation to dive deeper into your needs and goals.

03

treatment plan

After completing the evaluation, we’ll review the Treatment Plan, which includes results and tailored recommendations. We’ll also address any questions or concerns you may have. Once you feel comfortable with the plan, we’ll schedule your therapy sessions to get started on the path to progress.

02

evaluation

During the in-person evaluation, we’ll gather detailed information through a thorough review of the patient's case history, standardized testing, questionnaires, and clinical observations. This comprehensive assessment helps us develop a personalized plan.

04

therapy Sessions

Our therapy sessions are customized to meet each patient's specific needs. Sessions can be conducted in-home, at the client’s school, or any other mutually convenient location. For added flexibility, we also offer virtual sessions upon request.
